The compilation CD "Bentbasa - Bosnian Love Songs" is now available world-wide over the renowned
world music label "Piranha"from Berlin.
This time, the Piranha version is called "Sevdalinka -Sarajevo Love Songs"
has already received positive reviews from newspapers like "The Daily
Telegraph" (UK) and "Rhejnischer Merkur" (Ger.).
It was chose CD of the week on Radio Multikulti (Berlin.www.radiomultikulti.de) and HR2
What is of bigger impact for both the CD and Sevdalinka is that the world famous authority on world and ethno music,
the world music magazine Songlines, decided to feature the CD in its "Top of the World" review
section for this July/August issue. Furthermore, the Songlines editorialchose
Jadranka Stojakovic's new version of "Sto te Nema", which Jadranka had exclusively recorded in Japan last year
for the Bentbasa compilation with the Japanese musicians Natsuki Kido on guitar and Naoki Kita on violin.
